Inspirational person - Daniel Sturridge

This is an image of my favourite Footballer who plays for the team Liverpool.
His name is Daniel Sturridge. I traced his face and then I coloured it in using felt tips for his face and a blue oil pastel for the background to make him stand out.
I am pleased with the outcome however if I did it again I would use different colours to make it look funky.

Portrait on a grid
I created a portrait on a grid of my inspirational person Daniel Sturridge. I used soft pastels, felt tip and oil pastel to create a colourful portrait of him I am happy with my result and if I were to do this again I would use less colour to show his face off more.

Collage of Michael Jackson, inspired by the Artist Bisa Butler.

My response to the artist Julian Opie.
I used water colours to colour the image.
It took quite a while to complete the portrait because, you have to keep adding water to the paint then you have to wait for it to dry. I am quite pleased with the outcome, but it is a bit hard to see the facial features. The paint made the nose disappear because, it blended in too much.

To make my image better, I used acetate with the outlines of the face in black sharpie to make them easier to see, just like the image below when it is laid on top of the original.

I used acetate to create the outline of my portrait image to make his features clearer.

Inspired by the artist Andy Warhol who was an American Artist who created screen prints of famous people.

I turned my original image of Daniel Sturridge into a black and white copy using Threshold on Photoshop. I printed it out and then chose bright colours to use on it, just like Andy Warhol did.
